Brian Smith
Lead Pastor
Brian is the proud dad of four girls, the husband of his college sweetheart Laura, and a passionate lover of University of Tennessee football. When God called Brian to serve in ministry at eighteen, he has become convinced that the person of Jesus working through the local church is the only hope for our world. Brian has been serving as the Lead Pastor of Christ Community Church since February of 2016.
Rob Lauter
Assistant Pastor
Rob has found a relationship with Jesus to be the most life-giving adventure in the world! He is married to his amazing wife Sarah and proud dad to 4 awesome kiddos . He loves spending time with people, enjoying a good book, and playing as much pick-up basketball as possible. His passion is to see people trust, follow and become more like Jesus. Rob was called to Christ Community Church in March of 2022.
Connie Sullivan
Office Administrator
Connie is married to her college sweetheart Brian (Sully), and mom to 2 adult children. Connie served in a volunteer treasurer capacity at CCC for 11 years, until she was hired as the part-time administrative assistant in 2022. Connie became a Christian as an adult and feels most at peace and filled with joy when serving and speaking life; the life that Jesus has shown is possible through trusting in Him.
Mercy Brooks
Children’s Ministry Director
As a middle child of nine, Mercy Brooks has always had a passion and joy for nurturing kids. She has seen Jesus’ power from a young age and how it can change the trajectory of someone’s life. Mercy’s desire is that every kid has the opportunity to know Jesus’ love is for them, not just for adults. Her heart is that every parent feels supported in raising kids as disciples of Christ. When not serving, she enjoys crafting, baking, and the outdoors.
