What to Expect
Worship Service
At Christ Community Church we value authentic worship and biblical teaching. Every service has time devoted to personal and corporate prayer, congregational singing and time devoted to preaching from God's Word. We also take communion every Sunday “to remember our Lord’s death until He comes again.” Our singing is led by a live band that consists of church members with musical gifts and an eagerness to give glory to God. All the elements of our worship service is designed to point our hearts to Jesus.
Biblical teaching is always Gospel focused and addresses the real, practical issues of life and faith. You can expect to be both challenged and encouraged by pastoral team and the good news of the Gospel. The Sunday service lasts for approximately 75 minutes. You will find a friendly environment where everyone is welcome.
What Time Should I Arrive?
Our worship service starts at 10am on Sunday mornings. Please plan on arriving to at least 10-15 minutes before the service starts. That will give you time to park, check your kids into C3 Kids and grab a cup of coffee before the service begins. You’ll get a heads up when the service begins.
What Should I Wear?
Don’t worry about wearing your "Sunday best” to Christ Community. We dress very casually around here, so you can leave the tie at home. Very likely our pastor will be wearing blue jeans, and when the weather warms up, you might even see him in shorts from time to time.
What About My Kids?
Children are always welcome to join their parents in the service. But we would encourage you to check them in to our Kids ministry. We have songs and games and teaching geared towards kids in our C3 Kids space. When you enter our building, you will want to go ahead and check-in your child/children (Look for the C3 Kids sign). One of our volunteers will be there to help you with that process, making sure your child is in the right classroom. While you’re learning with the adults, your child will experience age-appropriate teaching, music and fun activities designed to introduce them to Jesus. C3 Kids is led by volunteers who will be there each week to provide and safe, fun, and loving environment for your child.
