Below are the videos and the companion guide from the Praying to Proclaim video series.

We hope and pray these bless you to pray and proclaim the Gospel, that we may see a massive harvest of salvation!

Introduction: The Means and the End Goal

Prayer is the often-missed means by which God helps us share the gospel with those around us. This intro helps us connect the dots to introduce the series.

Lesson 1- Weakness, Fear and Praying for What’s Missing

Weakness and fear don’t disqualify you for sharing the gospel; they’re actually the only starting place! The New Testament calls us to pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to be witnesses of Jesus.

Lesson 2- Pray that God Would Fill Us to Know the Love of Christ

One of the greatest motivations to share Christ is because of His great love for us! This love is not simply something to know intellectually, but to be experienced by the Holy Spirit. It’s from this place that we will joyfully speak about the One who loves us so much!

Lesson 3- Pray that God Would Give Us Jesus’ Compassion and Broken Heart for the Lost

What do you think and feel about non-Christians around you? Sadly, we can often lack a heart that even desires to proclaim Christ to them. To become like Jesus in this place, we need to take note of how Jesus thought of sinners, those who were far from God.

Lesson 4- Pray and Fast Against Our Apathy and For the Lost

One of the greatest weapons to aid us in prayer in general, and especially for the lost, is fasting. Because fasting is often a neglected practice, this lesson’s aim is to show what fasting is, what happens when we fast, and why you should fast for the lost to be saved.

Lesson 5- Pray like Paul for Open Doors and Boldness

One of the greatest weapons to aid us in prayer in general, and especially for the lost, is fasting. Because fasting is often a neglected practice, this lesson’s aim is to show what fasting is, what happens when we fast, and why you should fast for the lost to be saved.

Lesson 6- Pray for Words (What Is “Proclaiming Christ”?)

What is the gospel, the good news that we proclaim to other people? This lesson is simply to help define what it means/looks like to speak of Jesus with those around us. We want to look at 4 aspects of the good news we proclaim: God, sin, Jesus and response. We’ll look at these aspects in 4 different texts where the good news is being offered: Mark 1, John 6, 1 Corinthians 15, and Acts 17.

Lesson 7- Pray for Wisdom Toward Outsiders pt. 1

How do we actually go about trying to share Christ with others? What are some of the wisdom pieces needed in evangelism? We want to follow Paul’s words in Colossians 4 to “act wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time”. This lesson covers what it looks like to Open Your Home, Open Your Ears, and Open Your Bible.

Lesson 8- Pray for Wisdom Toward Outsiders pt. 2

How do we actually go about trying to share Christ with others? What are some of the wisdom pieces needed in evangelism? We want to follow Paul’s words in Colossians 4 to “act wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time”. This second lesson covers what it looks like to Share Your Story, Share Common Ground, and Share the Reason.

Lesson 9- Pray for the Spirit to Move According to God’s Promises

How do we become a people of hope in this age of hopelessness? The news cycles and all “statistics” about Christianity in the West point toward doom and gloom? Where is hope to be found? For the Christian, our hope is found in the promises of God and the history of God’s working from generation to generation. This lesson shows how to pray God’s promises and what historically has happened when God’s people do!

Conclusion: From a Season to a Rhythm of Life

How do we go from praying and proclaiming in a season to making a sustained heart and burden for the lost? This concluding video covers several practices to keep us praying and proclaiming as a lifestyle.
